Speaker 1 00:00:09 So it, oh, Speaker 2 00:00:10 Welcome back. Tuesday night gaming starting. Woo Speaker 3 00:00:15 Melana. And, Speaker 2 00:00:18 And, Speaker 3 00:00:20 And you, Speaker 2 00:00:21 And this week we are back to Fortnite and we are back to Titans episodes, two and three of season three. Speaker 1 00:00:30 Huh? Speaker 2 00:00:31 So we talk about the most important part first. Speaker 1 00:00:35 Yeah. Matt's heartbreak. Speaker 2 00:00:36 I, yeah. Yeah. I guess so. It's not it's sounds just me. Everybody should be heartbroken. Speaker 1 00:00:43 Yeah. It's mostly you. Speaker 2 00:00:45 Well, I actually felt a lot of emotion for this character death, which I usually don't on TV. Speaker 3 00:00:50 Cause you're cold blooded. Speaker 2 00:00:53 No, he said he did feel a lot. You the Iceman, cause you're soft, like a, like a woman. Well, Matt, part of the reason why he, me harder cuz I had empathy for you. Cause I knew he was your favorite character. So he's thank you Zach. Wow. Wow. I'm feeling, I'm really feeling the love on this episode of, uh, was it that name? It was played by Alan Rich, rich something rich Speaker 1 00:01:15 Richmond, something Speaker 2 00:01:16 Only. I cared enough about it and learned his actor's name. Alan Rich Richon or something? Uh, yeah, I mean, yeah, he was the best character. He's the best actor. I like that actor on. I liked him on blue mountain state and on the new research show on Amazon prime Speaker 3 00:01:31 Too. I enjoyed him in ther movie. Uh, what was, uh, uh, uh, I'm blanking as I always do Speaker 2 00:01:40 Fred versus blue. The movie. Speaker 3 00:01:42 No, um, Speaker 1 00:01:44 A laser Speaker 3 00:01:44 Team. That's it. Thank you. Speaker 2 00:01:47 Okay. Yeah. So I mean, and I thought this, that episode, the third episode did a really good job of, of like making you the audience, even if you've never watched the show before really like his character. Um, you know, he was funny. He was heartfelt, you know, dove is the ham. So she must have good taste in that boys. Yeah, he, yeah, he, he has great taste of music. You know, he is cracking jokes. That was a tough death. Like she got to like see it coming from like a thousand miles away, but still didn't stop it. Speaker 1 00:02:20 But guys, you know who, who really killed him? Speaker 2 00:02:23 Dawn, Speaker 1 00:02:23 Whoever taught super boy probability Speaker 2 00:02:27 <laugh> ah, super boy was great in these past couple episodes. No, no he's not. He's not great. Speaker 3 00:02:33 He's Speaker 2 00:02:34 White. He's like you please mute your microphone while you're you. No, Speaker 3 00:02:42 I'm getting shot. Speaker 2 00:02:44 Thank you. No <laugh> Speaker 3 00:02:46 Anyway. Got Speaker 2 00:02:47 Coming. Jay, the super boys like wedge where he's like quiet confidence. He just shows up and does what needs to get done that no one else can do Speaker 1 00:02:56 Like bar in the movies. Like what Speaker 2 00:02:59 Don't you talk about wedge? I'm not in the mood. Yeah. I first walk then wedge. How dare you? Speaker 1 00:03:04 Wow. Speaker 2 00:03:06 I got another one coming in Speaker 1 00:03:07 Wedge side. Wedge is not dead like Hawk. <laugh> Speaker 2 00:03:12 I'm sure in some book's dead. Speaker 1 00:03:15 Probably cool. Speaker 2 00:03:16 But anyway, so I will say that, um, with Hawks death, Jason went from being like a guy you love to hate to a guy who just sucks. Speaker 1 00:03:25 Well, you know, now for once I agree with the characters on the show, they're like, wow, this is so like weird for Jason to be doing it. So I'm like, yeah, it Speaker 2 00:03:34 Is weird. Speaker 1 00:03:35 Why is it's weird? It's actually kind of annoying how like out of left field, this is Speaker 2 00:03:42 Well also Jason was never that smart. That Speaker 1 00:03:45 Makes sense. Yes. Yes. He's like dumb as a better rocks. Damn. Speaker 2 00:03:50 Yeah. But I mean, that's the whole point of the first episode where Dick is like, yo, this kid can't read. Why is he have a chemistry book? That was, that was a great line. I don't remember that line. Yeah. Yeah. He literally says he can't read. No he's he says Jason was the big reader or something like that. Speaker 1 00:04:07 Yeah. He says it nice in the nice way he Speaker 2 00:04:11 Even asked Batman. He's like, Hey, you don't know, Jason, couldn't read his way out of a bag once he read chemistry. Yeah. I like Jay's interpretation. I think part of the reason why it's so shocking is also he's he's a regular he's been in, I guess he's been in two episodes. So you think he's gonna be around for a while and also it's not in the comics, right? Sure. You, you expect like Jason's death. Wasn't particularly shocking. Like we, like we discussed because it happens in the comics. You're just waiting for it to happen. Speaker 1 00:04:40 Yeah. Right. Speaker 2 00:04:41 Oh shoot. Do you guys want us, should we go back to the lobby so Zach can get in? Speaker 1 00:04:44 Sure. It's also kinda weird. Cause I don't think red hood is this sadistic in the comics. Isn't he just sort of like a night wing equivalent? Who murders? Speaker 2 00:04:52 Well, they made first, he was a villain and he had it out for Batman and then everybody loved him. So they made him a good guy. Yeah. Gave the batted that one or Deadpool or taskmaster. I escape bottom left. Ooh. Look at us, Matt. We're in Otica I was recently reading a thread about on Alan's favorite. So hobby drama. Oh yeah. About red hood in the Outlaws. Have you guys read this one? Speaker 1 00:05:21 Wait, is this about how star fire banks are way through red hood in the Outlaws? Speaker 2 00:05:25 That's part of that. Yes. It's like yeah. Way to ruin it way to Speaker 1 00:05:31 Spoil it way to spoil it. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:05:33 So basically they were talking about how they, as part of the new 52, they launched red hood in the Outlaws, which had obviously red hood who went from being, uh, he had a lot of character issues, but he used to be a bad guy and now he's more like a Punisher anti-hero so that was a change. But the other problem with was with star fire. Yeah. Like not only is she like totally sexed up, but she also like, yeah. Even more than before. Yeah. Like a lot more than before. But she also, um, there's a point where she's like, yeah, I don't remember the Titans and I don't care about them. Speaker 1 00:06:05 Wow. Speaker 3 00:06:07 Try. Speaker 2 00:06:08 And all the people that grew up on the teen Titans, cartoon and screamed out in anger. Yeah. And they didn't get into DC comics, but maybe they would have, if just someone hadn't made such a bad decision Speaker 1 00:06:19 <laugh> Speaker 2 00:06:20 We Speaker 3 00:06:21 Can go back decision Speaker 2 00:06:23 You back to times. Yeah. Was a, was a shocking death for sure. Um mm-hmm <affirmative> Speaker 3 00:06:29 It was an explosive. Speaker 1 00:06:32 How was also good is when he, after he blew up and like crypto just kind of walks out. Speaker 2 00:06:37 I knew a lot. I was gonna talk about crypto. I know. Yeah. I know it. Crypto Speaker 3 00:06:40 Was great. And Speaker 2 00:06:41 Does at least crypto lived? Yeah. Yeah. That's right. This is a crypto podcast. Speaker 3 00:06:46 <laugh> Speaker 2 00:06:48 Crypto Speaker 3 00:06:49 Went and got em was gonna go get em, hot dogs and bourbon. Speaker 2 00:06:53 Yeah. Speaker 1 00:06:54 He did get em, hot dogs. I don't know about the bourbon. Speaker 3 00:06:56 No, we need the hot dogs. Speaker 1 00:06:59 Oh, well I don't know what crypto was doing then Speaker 3 00:07:01 Crypto was, uh, looking for the bourbon. Speaker 1 00:07:04 Maybe crypto actually killed Hawk because Hawk ate all his food. Speaker 2 00:07:09 Oh, that was great. <laugh> um, I have to, and I, I, I thought the stuff with Dawn and the gun was really good too. I, I, I have to admit that I didn't see it coming. I thought he was gonna do the thing where he's like, either it wasn't loaded or he like would record it on video being like, oh my God, look, Dawn. A member of the Titans shot in like an unarmed man in the street, like release the video or whatever to try to discredit them. So I, I didn't see it coming. Speaker 1 00:07:37 Yeah. I mean, do you guys think, we thought that either way he was gonna blow up, he didn't actually have a deactivate? Speaker 2 00:07:44 Well, the fact that earlier there was a scene where him and I went just kind of pour their hearts out to one another. Did kind of lift the death flag two characters. That as far as I know, have never interacted Speaker 3 00:07:58 Play played, come on together. Speaker 2 00:08:00 No, they don't play video games together. That's him. And don't know Speaker 3 00:08:03 You Don that you don't know that Speaker 2 00:08:05 We never saw them do it though. Speaker 3 00:08:07 Yeah. But you don't know that, Speaker 1 00:08:09 But also Matt, like when was the last time you watched the other seasons Speaker 2 00:08:14 To banging? Why would he like play video games with people could be having sex? Am I right? Speaker 1 00:08:22 Um, wasn't he like doing drugs for like a lot? Speaker 2 00:08:24 Yeah. That was season too. Yeah. See exactly. Like he, he's not a nerd. Speaker 3 00:08:29 So the first, first time I watched this episode, God, it's so weird saying that. Uh, I actually thought Speaker 2 00:08:36 Few ago. Yeah. Speaker 3 00:08:37 Because, uh, cause when, uh, crypto goes in, I was like, oh, is crypto just gonna rip that thing right out of him and save them and just chop on it. Speaker 1 00:08:52 Chop on, oh Speaker 2 00:08:54 CJ's under attack cryptos. Like this requires drastic ventures. Speaker 3 00:08:57 Yeah. I'll bombproof I'll just jump on it Speaker 1 00:09:01 Also like, you know, if bat Titans had a kid flash, this bomb wouldn't be a problem. He would just, you know, hyper, hyper I'm also whatever, someone, his chest Speaker 2 00:09:13 Go through it. Super speed. Speaker 1 00:09:14 Yeah. Speaker 2 00:09:16 Or use molecules Speaker 1 00:09:18 Right also. Oh, Andrew was like, why didn't they just cryogenically freeze. So it's Speaker 2 00:09:26 Or, or use some kind of crazy technique to slow his heart right down. Yeah. I, you can't really think about like that in terms of stuff like that for superhero shows because especially characters like super boy are so powerful. CJ. They saw a guy over here. Okay. Yeah. I think that the show's supposed to be a little bit more grounded than that, or at least is trying to be <laugh>. Uh, okay. Speaker 3 00:09:50 I was being I'm coming back to, Speaker 2 00:09:53 So what else do we want talk about, Speaker 3 00:09:58 About, about Dick digging up the body. Speaker 2 00:10:01 Oh, just, Speaker 3 00:10:01 Oh yeah. Where's the Speaker 2 00:10:03 It's like we know it. It's dad. He's he's there's nobody, Speaker 1 00:10:07 A lot of superpowered friends who could've helped them dig up that grave or he could've used supervised x-ray vision to see that the grave was empty. Well, I guess easier things than digging. Speaker 2 00:10:16 He did the classic Batman thing where he just doesn't wanna tell people until he knows for sure. Speaker 3 00:10:20 Yo everyone Speaker 1 00:10:22 Chugging. Speaker 2 00:10:22 Yes. meanJ you got the, you got the keg, man. I got the keg. All right, hold on. I'm on my way. Speaker 3 00:10:27 But Joe, Speaker 2 00:10:28 Where is Speaker 3 00:10:29 The plan where where's where's the grave Speaker 2 00:10:33 It's in it's over next to Alfred on Wayne Manor, whatever. Yeah, Speaker 3 00:10:37 Yeah. Right by where they are. So couldn't they just look out the window and be like, what the Speaker 2 00:10:41 Fuck what's he doing over there? Yes, of course. This is Titans. We have to grade it on like a sliding scale. I'd like to, because it reminded me of like a horror movie. <laugh> Speaker 3 00:10:53 Because you wanted to close your eyes. Speaker 2 00:10:55 No, no's like the monkeys paw. It's like, ah, the graves empty. I dunno. Speaker 1 00:11:03 So the, the very opening of this episode is where Jason, um, goes and threatens all the crime Lords, which is like pretty much exactly what joker does Speaker 2 00:11:13 The second episode, right? Speaker 1 00:11:14 Yeah. Well, the first episode we're talking about. Okay. Speaker 2 00:11:20 I honestly wasn't paying attention. Yeah. That was great. When they were all like, I can't, I can't run my business in this city <laugh> Speaker 1 00:11:28 But it was like, it is kinda lazy, joking, and I did it better. Speaker 2 00:11:33 It's also kind of hard to imagine all those guys fighting, um, J or I, I do, I actually did like this. I actually did like the plot of the season, cuz it, it definitely felt like a classic Batman plot, you know? Like I missed clues and you know, a mind game trying to track down the guy and I think it was done pretty well. I just didn't like that. They really, they couldn't help themselves. They had to tell us that it was Jason so quickly. They couldn't even let him be dead for one episode. That's a good and they couldn't give him a good mask. Speaker 1 00:12:14 He was acting so weird. I really thought he was gonna be death stroke. Speaker 2 00:12:19 That would've been better. That would've been again. Speaker 1 00:12:23 Yeah. Speaker 2 00:12:24 Deaths to the red. Speaker 1 00:12:27 Yeah. Speaker 2 00:12:28 Yeah. Speaker 1 00:12:31 Hate Speaker 2 00:12:31 Titans. Speaker 1 00:12:32 He hates the Titans. Speaker 2 00:12:35 Exactly. Who doesn't Speaker 1 00:12:38 <laugh> uh, the Titans themselves. Speaker 2 00:12:40 I like the Titans. I just don't like their shell <laugh> oh, oh, take that. What's it? What? Seriously? Like Jason's freaking mask gets shattered with one hit. Did, did you guys watch the recap for three? About two. It made me laugh. Cuz it shows. Cause it shows night win confronting Jason he's like Jason, is that you? And then Jason says I wrote it down. Yeah. I have a new name now though. Speaker 1 00:13:09 It's the red hood. You're going Speaker 2 00:13:11 It's Speaker 1 00:13:11 The red hood. Hear it a lot. Yeah. It's really bad. Speaker 2 00:13:18 It was, it was some classic Titans writing. Speaker 1 00:13:21 Yeah. Um, oh, uh, sorry. I also just Jason he's suddenly like super good at guns. He's really great at throwing knives. Speaker 2 00:13:33 Well, I mean it's superhero show a lot. Speaker 1 00:13:37 <laugh> they don't, they don't use guns. Benny doesn't use guns. Speaker 2 00:13:41 Jason does he? He does become good at using guns. Yes. I really didn't have a problem with, I they're fully trained. They have all of them. So I'm they're fully trained. They just don't. They've never used them. Doesn't mean they can't. Speaker 1 00:13:59 How about Hawk? Those bikes. Speaker 2 00:14:01 Yeah baby. You guys must like your home city getting the shout out course. Why couldn't it be in, in DC right now? Attack behind from where Speaker 1 00:14:10 P it. I did like it, but I was also looking at the locations and I was like, is, is really DC though. Speaker 2 00:14:16 Probably not. It's probably LA Speaker 1 00:14:19 Probably not Speaker 2 00:14:20 Probably sound safe in LA. Where the fuck is that pig pick. Hello? ZJ Speaker 1 00:14:30 Oh, okay. Here's another observation I had. Okay. So you're in DC. Hawk is wearing bike shorts and he's part of some police force. Is it the MPD? Is it the park police? Is it the federal police? Who knows? They don't Speaker 2 00:14:44 Probably made up Speaker 1 00:14:44 Going to die. Um, Speaker 2 00:14:46 He gets MPD. Speaker 1 00:14:48 <laugh> it's the MPD, but anyway, uh, it's it's warm. Right? And then we cut to Dick going into police headquarters and there's snow on the ground. Speaker 4 00:14:59 We got a long way to go next. We drive this, Speaker 2 00:15:03 You Speaker 1 00:15:03 Know, there's no way in the country where some places like snowing in the other places like bike shorts, actually I'm saying that I'm like, I guess you could have, what are you talking Speaker 2 00:15:12 About? Speaker 1 00:15:13 LA, whatever. Speaker 2 00:15:15 LA Speaker 1 00:15:16 It's Speaker 3 00:15:16 Ridiculous. DC. Speaker 1 00:15:19 No Speaker 2 00:15:20 DC during beach. Speaker 4 00:15:20 It, we should probably get moving. We don't wanna be here when Speaker 3 00:15:23 The, yeah, we still Speaker 2 00:15:24 Have there's enemies off to our right though. We Speaker 4 00:15:26 There's, there's a car right here. Speaker 2 00:15:27 Okay. Grabs each. Speaker 4 00:15:30 You want me to drive? Speaker 2 00:15:31 Yes I do. I believe it. You Speaker 4 00:15:33 All right? Speaker 2 00:15:35 I'm killing them though. Speaker 1 00:15:38 Uh, well be you. Speaker 2 00:15:40 Uh, okay. So I also would like to talk about scarecrow being the Hannibal Le of this show. Well, a lot of ive has a lot. Oh Speaker 1 00:15:47 My God. Speaker 2 00:15:48 Alana has a lot to say Speaker 4 00:15:49 About you. That was a soccer level thought. Speaker 1 00:15:52 I mean, he's basically the best character. Speaker 2 00:15:54 Wow. You were gonna be Antip. Speaker 1 00:15:58 No, he was great, Speaker 3 00:16:00 Man. Speaker 2 00:16:00 DJ, what are you doing? Get us, get us moving. I, my, my only, well, I, I am not Speaker 4 00:16:07 Lightly out of Speaker 2 00:16:08 Here. I'm just, I'm not really the biggest fan of scarecrow mostly. Cuz he doesn't even really look like scarecrow and by which I mean, he doesn't look like scarecrow and bamy and made serious, which is the correct version. Its the crazy outfit. Well just like, like the really skinny, like he looks like a scarecrow, like you know the thin arms, the thin legs. SI Murphy. Speaker 3 00:16:29 Yeah. Maybe it is just because he has the munchies from smoking so much pot. Speaker 2 00:16:35 I mean he does look like he could have been calendar, man. It look exactly the same, right? Yeah. Your other favorite character? No, I mean, but yeah. It's just like, yeah he could've, he doesn't he looks running. Yeah, that's it. We should stop here. What is up with the uh, smoking weed by the way? I don't know Speaker 3 00:16:53 His nerves. Speaker 1 00:16:54 I think it's uh, it was like updating the character Speaker 2 00:17:00 <laugh> it's like, yeah, he is gotta do new, cool things. Now Speaker 1 00:17:04 He's gotta just, you know, Speaker 3 00:17:05 We're gonna shot from behind. He Speaker 1 00:17:06 Have something that he can bribe him with. I thats fine. He's obviously behind all this. Right. Got Speaker 2 00:17:18 It. Speaker 3 00:17:19 The other thing. Oh, okay. So Barbara Gordon Speaker 2 00:17:26 Uhhuh. Speaker 1 00:17:27 Yeah, Speaker 2 00:17:27 She's fine. I liked her. She's Speaker 3 00:17:29 Okay. She's fine. I think she's a fine actor. Speaker 1 00:17:32 Okay. Speaker 3 00:17:33 Uh, and has been acting her part very well, except for what's with yeah. Okay. All the times can just walk in there and just like, Hey, Hey. Yeah, the commission there's attention. Yeah. Everyone Speaker 2 00:17:46 All the time. Yeah. She's busy. I, I didn't like the part she's like, you guys got the one call wrong. So you're dead today. <laugh> Speaker 1 00:17:54 You know, that part was hilarious cuz she's like they stole 25 million and it's like, geez, sorry. It's like, I don't know. I'm not used to superhero stuff like caring about money. Speaker 3 00:18:04 But so the best part about that is she compare complains about that. And then the next episode three, uh Jason's like I want 50 million gold bars and he's like, I'll just wire you that <laugh> yeah. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:18:19 If you the money I could just send it to you. Speaker 3 00:18:21 So that million they could just been like, oh yeah, my bad, Speaker 1 00:18:26 Heres Speaker 2 00:18:28 Cares. It's not them losing the money. Insurance covers everything. I also like the part where I also like the part where Barbara is like, you're letting your father control your life too much. He's like, is that so commissioner Gordon. Speaker 1 00:18:39 Oh, that was the greatest comeback in this show. That was great. Speaker 2 00:18:44 It was, it was great. I also liked how she was like who guys screwed up? You know, the Titans are out. You guys suck. And then in the next episode, the GCPD like lose the body. Lose Jason's body. Speaker 1 00:18:56 Yeah. Speaker 2 00:18:57 Crap. Can't Speaker 3 00:18:59 Not just that. But then you also have the forensic videographer, like her workstation is in the, the middle of the hallway. Yeah. How messed up is that? How ungrateful are that? Speaker 1 00:19:14 The police headquarters is like ultramodern and slick and does not seem functional at all. Speaker 3 00:19:20 <laugh> the commissioners office is like way down the hallway, but you have to cross through like three other departments to get there and then you have to go all it's like, what is this? Speaker 2 00:19:31 Can we admit though? I just, by the fact that you guys were saying that I think this, I think Titans has really leveled up as a show. Like I feel like last, the last time we watched this, we wouldn't even talk about something like that. Cuz we would be talking about how like how terrible the rest of it is. Speaker 1 00:19:45 No, we would be talking about their cut and barrel kitchen supplies. Speaker 2 00:19:48 Oh yeah. Maybe you were. Speaker 1 00:19:50 I remember. Speaker 3 00:19:51 And, and other aspects of the show, Speaker 2 00:19:54 Like, but I think like more important shows like this is a little bit even almost kind of nitpicky now in a good, there is. I mean there's still a lot of complaining about feelings. Speaker 3 00:20:02 Yeah. Speaker 2 00:20:03 Well I guess so I guess what was that Jay? Speaker 3 00:20:06 Well, the other thing is I think also we're struggling to find things to talk about <laugh> well, I, Speaker 2 00:20:14 I got, I got stuff. Are you saying my notes? Speaker 3 00:20:17 Show me your stuff. Speaker 2 00:20:18 Oh yeah. Whoa, hold on. I'm taking fire. Uh, okay. Well they're distracted. I have a question. Do you guys like Dick and contract about fear? Do you remember this? Speaker 1 00:20:32 That's a, is that a reference to like the candlelight oath? Speaker 2 00:20:35 Oh yeah. That was really weird. Uh, possibly I don't remember. Speaker 1 00:20:41 I think so. Speaker 2 00:20:42 Yeah. For those who don't remember there's they find in his room, a framed contract where it's like, like I, Dick Grayson swear that I will never give comfort Speaker 3 00:20:50 To give into my fair. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:20:52 Yeah. That's right. Yeah. Signed Dick Grayson trustee like witnessed Bruce Wayne <laugh> it was very, it was really weird. I always gonna come up. I was hope it's gonna be relevant later, but probably not. Speaker 3 00:21:03 I'm sure it will. I mean they wanna make it such a big thing about Speaker 2 00:21:07 It. Yes they would. It's it's Titans. Speaker 3 00:21:10 I'm trying to give it the benefit. I mean, if Speaker 4 00:21:11 They're fighting scarecrow, something about fear seems Speaker 2 00:21:15 They're not fighting scarecrow. He's locked up. Not yet. Speaker 3 00:21:19 You're locked in there with Speaker 2 00:21:21 Alana. Do you wanna share your anecdote about how Pete was such a deck that he got fired from the show? Speaker 3 00:21:27 Wow. Huh? Speaker 2 00:21:28 Did he get fired from the show for being such a Dick? Who's Pete Speaker 1 00:21:31 Vincent carer. Speaker 2 00:21:32 Yeah. Speaker 1 00:21:33 Who's that? I didn't Speaker 3 00:21:34 What Speaker 2 00:21:34 You, the guy who plays, uh, you told me that the guy who plays carro, Speaker 3 00:21:39 You just blasting people. Matt Alana stuff Speaker 1 00:21:44 Up. Matt. Think about it for one second. Is he in the last episode? Speaker 2 00:21:48 I don't know. I haven't watched the show Speaker 1 00:21:50 In madman. Speaker 2 00:21:52 Yes. Madman. What are you guys talking about? He's not a Dick. He wasn't a Dick then maybe he's a Dick. Now people Speaker 1 00:21:57 Came. What I meant, I didn't know was on show until last week. Speaker 2 00:22:01 I thought you told me that. Speaker 1 00:22:03 No. Speaker 2 00:22:09 Who is? Uh, I have another observation I wanna share. Which is that Barb? How old do you guys think Barbaras Barbara? Probably late thirties. Early forties. That would be my guess. Speaker 1 00:22:18 Yeah. Thirties. Speaker 2 00:22:19 Okay. Cause she seems significantly older than Dick, which made me come up with the fan theory, which is that she was the first Batman sidekick. Speaker 3 00:22:28 Oh Speaker 2 00:22:29 Yeah. Like she was the first one. I agree that she's significantly older than so. Yeah, no, I thought that'd be kind of a cool continuity where it's Batman and bat girl. And then Batman, Robin Speaker 4 00:22:41 I've been getting shot at, by the way. Speaker 2 00:22:43 Sorry dude. I don't know what that was. I just, Speaker 3 00:22:45 How was a rip saw Speaker 2 00:22:47 All? Uh, I like the line. If you're gonna dove it, I'm gonna Hawk. Speaker 3 00:22:52 That was cute. Speaker 2 00:22:55 Talking about how they're gonna, I got an me over here. Uh, yeah. So yeah. Yeah. Two. I didn't have that much to talk about. Speaker 3 00:23:06 I mean it was a show. Speaker 2 00:23:12 I liked it. Yeah. Um, yeah, that mysteries of a classic takedown plot. There's a lot of Titans fighting goons that are not even close to being strong enough to beat them. Yeah. So in three they talk about somehow Jason returned like power team, get it, get it. Um, but then somebody says, well, if we figure out how he came back, maybe they could bring Donna back. Oh yeah. I remember Speaker 3 00:23:35 That line says that that's amazing. And I liked everyone's face when she said that. I was like, everyone's like, yikes, should we tell her <laugh> Speaker 2 00:23:44 Thank God. Well all and also like there, I like how I like how he just assumes that rather than Jason faking his death or maybe he wasn't actually dead all along or whatever. She's just like, people are getting resurrected. Let's just get, how can we have this benefit us? Yeah. That's not unnatural. It's not like he's come back totally different than yeah. He was when he died. <laugh> yeah, exactly. Speaker 1 00:24:09 I, the chess thing to be needlessly confusing, they were trying to be so clever and it was just, what are you even, what are they even talking about? The whole like chess strategy. Speaker 2 00:24:20 It's like, that's my, that's my opening move. And then it wasn't discussed at all in episode three. Speaker 1 00:24:28 Yeah. Speaker 3 00:24:29 Well Dick is uh, done with that thought line. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:24:37 I guess Jason is still he's. Jason's like the joker where like sometimes he's doing one metaphor and sometimes he's doing another metaphor. Well, Speaker 3 00:24:45 He has a lot of tricks up his bag. He's gotta, he's gotta use a lot of things. Yeah. He, he gets bored easily. Speaker 2 00:24:53 Uh, okay. So, so other observation is the part where Corey says whoever's messing, messing with us. We need to go after them and their family. Speaker 1 00:25:01 No, no, no. Speaker 3 00:25:02 That's no, no. She says anyone who comes after family would deal Speaker 1 00:25:06 With that's. That's what she said. No, Speaker 2 00:25:08 I, I disagree. Speaker 1 00:25:10 You're Speaker 2 00:25:10 Wrong? Enemies on the left. You guys like the part where hockey's crypto's food. Yes. Yeah. That's hilarious. Um, so the part where, um, goes after Jason by himself, I like the part where he goes to Gotham city. Joan, that the one Jim novel. Speaker 1 00:25:28 There's Speaker 2 00:25:29 Only one. That's literally it scam and it closed down six years ago, man. Speaker 4 00:25:35 I mean, in Boston there's like a Boston sports club. Speaker 3 00:25:37 It, yeah, there's a deep one too. Speaker 2 00:25:41 I know this is funny, but also Gotham is fictional. So it's like the writers could have spent a little bit more time to, uh, Speaker 3 00:25:48 Could they, Speaker 1 00:25:49 I know they could have named it anything and they named it Gotham city Speaker 2 00:25:51 Chip it should've been grants, Jim. Speaker 1 00:25:53 Yeah. Speaker 2 00:25:54 Yeah, yeah. Now you're talking. Speaker 4 00:25:59 We don't need to get any or do we need to get somewhere? Speaker 2 00:26:01 I, no, we don't. Speaker 4 00:26:03 I guess we do Speaker 3 00:26:04 Wait. Speaker 2 00:26:05 We're okay. We can just, we can just walk. Yeah, we can walk. Let's just walk it. Uh, wait, wait, I had, I had something about this Speaker 3 00:26:13 Team. Speaker 2 00:26:13 I'm talking about Speaker 3 00:26:15 Batman. Speaker 1 00:26:15 Um, this, the gym where he gets naked. I really Speaker 2 00:26:19 Gross. Cool. I, I really didn't like how Hawk just got taken down. So such a dumb, like he was so stupid. Yeah. Speaker 1 00:26:26 Yeah. It was like Speaker 4 00:26:28 Just, we should probably just ignore them and move on. They'll have to have this way. Anyway. Speaker 2 00:26:32 He just went, he just got, it was so obvious that it was a trap and he completely fell for it. I didn't like it. Yeah. But the, the whole rest of the episode was quite good. I like part, oh my God. Speaker 3 00:26:43 Our own below us. Don't answer the phone call. Don't strip down. Don't get in the pool. Speaker 2 00:26:49 Yeah. That was like, it's just like, and he, and he's the one who doesn't like Jason. So he should be the last one to trust him. Speaker 3 00:26:55 Yeah. But he also has the heart of cold. Who's dying first. Hey Speaker 2 00:26:59 Jay is Jays. Oh Speaker 3 00:27:01 Shit. Sorry. Speaker 2 00:27:03 It's I can go doing the wrong. I can resume. You can re Zach Speaker 3 00:27:07 Okay. Get to it. Survive. I'm going. I can, oh, no, my thing. Sorry. Speaker 2 00:27:19 Sprint, sprint sprint. So, um, so yeah, the whole setup with Dawn and the gun I thought was good. Remind me of that part from Daredevil. Um, that was, that's kind of neat. What was I gonna say about that? Uh, Speaker 3 00:27:34 It was neat. Speaker 2 00:27:35 Uh, yeah, so that was good. Uh, actually, did you guys, like I wrote down the line, hot going and hot going out. Speaker 3 00:27:40 Yeah. Oh yeah. I almost ordered a Hawaiian jalapenos in honor. Ah, Speaker 2 00:27:48 Yeah. It's just, Speaker 3 00:27:49 Well, ball Ellen is a great actor and he's fun. He's a good Speaker 2 00:27:53 Guy. Yeah. He should come back as Exton and they should team up. Speaker 3 00:27:56 <laugh> there's nowhere to Speaker 2 00:27:58 Hide. Yeah. Now I remember my observation about the big, uh, conversation with Jason, which is, I understand why Dawn didn't just punch him in the face and take the switch out of his hand, make him like, go of it. Oh my God. Cause he was like, if I let go, it'll go off. Like it'll deactivate. Speaker 1 00:28:14 No. Yeah. He said, let go, it'll deactivate. The bombs. Just run and hit him. Speaker 2 00:28:19 Yeah. Speaker 3 00:28:20 It's Speaker 2 00:28:21 I think he had another guard. Speaker 3 00:28:22 Stupid. Speaker 2 00:28:24 I didn't see it. He was on like Speaker 3 00:28:26 For whatever. He has two on his hips. Yeah. He has one on each hip. He has all the on Speaker 1 00:28:31 Everything. But Don is Bulletproof. As we saw Speaker 2 00:28:33 It also makes it all the more sadder that he didn't get to pork of one more time. Oh God. Hey, she's single now. Duh, dad. Speaker 3 00:28:43 I mean the other thing is he was far enough away that he'd be able to play the keep away game. Speaker 2 00:28:49 Maybe it was, it was dramatic. This is a superhero show. Like, come on guys. No, I know. It just seems so obvious. It's like, could at least holding a gun on her. Right. You know, or something. So then, okay. So after Hawk dies and then night wing and uh, dove wrestling with the gun that wing says shooting him, won't solve anything. I'm like, yeah. Well they'll solve quite a number of problems. Speaker 3 00:29:15 It'll Speaker 1 00:29:16 Solve a lot of Speaker 3 00:29:16 Things. Speaker 2 00:29:17 That's I mean that one writer on the Titans who writes the terrible dialogue, he keeps, you know, he or she keeps slipping in. If you know what I mean? Speaker 3 00:29:25 You know, Speaker 2 00:29:25 They can't, they can't get rid of them entirely. Speaker 3 00:29:28 Would you kill Jason? Speaker 2 00:29:31 Yes. Would I kill Jason? I don't know. I'm a superhero. So I wouldn't Speaker 3 00:29:35 That's right. See, but you Speaker 2 00:29:37 Have, I mean, and I guess it was good that delve was the one doing it because night wing would've been smart out to be like, not just take the situation at face value, you know, Speaker 3 00:29:47 Like Speaker 2 00:29:47 Obviously this gun's probably not loaded or something else is messed with it or whatever. It probably would've Speaker 3 00:29:53 Helped the weight of a gun. I realized it wasn't fully loaded. Speaker 2 00:29:57 No. In the fuel, the weight of a gun in your hand, that's loaded versus unloaded. Speaker 3 00:30:01 Yeah. Come on. John's a very difference. There's very big difference. Speaker 2 00:30:05 I know its all personal to just ask li Speaker 3 00:30:09 Or just ask me Speaker 2 00:30:11 Jay Jays. Speaker 3 00:30:14 There is a huge difference. Speaker 2 00:30:16 Well, John Claude didn't know. Did you guys know that Dove's wings were Bulletproof? Speaker 1 00:30:21 Yes. Did you know that the subtitles called night wing Robin <laugh> Speaker 2 00:30:25 Well, that is who he is. Speaker 1 00:30:27 <laugh> Speaker 3 00:30:28 And is that was funny. Speaker 2 00:30:30 Oh guys, the part where bar says, can we see the bat suit? And nighting says no. And he says, can we see the bat mobile? And nighting says, no. That's because of the terms of the agreement to have these characters in the shell. Yeah. No, I believe it. I mean, I don't know that for a fact, but that's my guess. You guys know the reason why, uh halflings are called halflings and D and D is because of the tol estate wouldn't given the right to the term half. Uh Hoit. That makes sense. Not halflings is better than them being called habits though, but <laugh>. Yeah, but nobody asked, nobody asked me <laugh> boring. Um, yeah. So it's sad that they didn't get to bone. What else do I have written down? Speaker 3 00:31:14 But they did get to dry hump. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:31:17 That's like, that was a tease though. That's Speaker 3 00:31:19 Yeah, but at least you got a little and then Speaker 2 00:31:21 He was like, oh man, I'm so stupid. I should have known sex would make my heart rate Andre. It's like, yeah, you are stupid. But Speaker 3 00:31:27 It didn't. But it didn't. Speaker 2 00:31:29 Yeah, it didn't go off. I was waiting for the alarm to go off. Speaker 3 00:31:31 Hey, there's some slurp. Speaker 2 00:31:37 Um, yeah. Speaker 3 00:31:38 I, yeah, that doesn't get his heart rate, but oh, quick of anger does. Hmm. Interesting. Oh, Speaker 2 00:31:47 He's on all those. He's on all those beta blockers. So Speaker 3 00:31:51 Why aren't they just healthy? If his resting heart rate is 60 something, Speaker 2 00:31:55 Why don't they just do it real slow? You know, like whatever. Speaker 3 00:32:00 I'm just saying someone with a 60 heart rate resting heart rate is not that healthy. Speaker 2 00:32:06 Sorry. Just I am. He's super ripped though. So he is obviously pretty healthy. Speaker 3 00:32:12 Yeah. My man needs to check his cholesterol. Speaker 2 00:32:16 <laugh> uh, yeah. Okay. Any other observations about that Titans? Yeah, I'm sure I do. Hang on. Um, Speaker 3 00:32:24 Booty. Hey yo. Speaker 2 00:32:26 I like the par Gar speaks for the audience where he's like, what are we even doing in go Speaker 1 00:32:30 <laugh> yeah. Speaker 3 00:32:31 <laugh> like, oh, go, go ahead. Speaker 2 00:32:35 No, I was just gonna say it's one thing for them to be like helping with one particular, but Dick is basically like, Batman's gone. I need, I need your guys' help. Yeah. I'm they're just gonna be on permanent Gotham police duty. Well, I also thought that they were there to, um, catch the red hood, but the red hood wasn't there when he called Speaker 1 00:32:55 They're now. Well Speaker 2 00:32:58 Catch, whoever was doing those crimes rub up on me. Roses basically. Speaker 1 00:33:03 Barbara's like with Batman gone and joker dead, there's gonna be a lot of chaos and Dick's like, you're right. There is gonna be chaos. I'm gonna call the Italian. Barbara's like, wait. No don't Speaker 3 00:33:15 I, I, I did the, I did something stupid. <laugh> that's what she's but Speaker 2 00:33:19 Great more superheroes and got them. That's all we need. Superhero is definitely minimize the chaos rather than increase it. Um, what else? What else? Speaker 3 00:33:29 Okay. I mean, Speaker 2 00:33:30 And you're wearing a mask Speaker 1 00:33:32 <laugh> Speaker 2 00:33:34 Um, oh, I like, I like the part I, another great conversation with Hank is the part where he is like, he's like, when I see Alfred, I'm gonna say hello for you or something like that. And she's like, you're not gonna see, you're not gonna see Alfred. He's like, what do you think Alfred's in? Hell Speaker 1 00:33:48 Yeah. That was great. <laugh> Speaker 2 00:33:51 Yeah. They stepped up the writing. I don't know what happened. They did. They really did. Can't believe that Speaker 1 00:33:55 Like they stepped it up except all of night wings. Dialogue is still terrible. Speaker 2 00:33:59 <laugh> well, but it's not, it's not, it's not, I don't think it's as bad as it was. I mean, it's not good, but it's not as bad as it was. Let's move guys. I'm on my way. Speaker 1 00:34:09 Send me on my way. Speaker 2 00:34:11 Um, what a twist. Yeah, he did a good job. Oh, another great line is, um, what he is. Uh, he's telling them about Jason and wanting the 50 million and Hank's like, what did he have? A white cat on his lap too? Speaker 1 00:34:25 Yeah. Speaker 2 00:34:26 Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 1 00:34:27 That's good. Speaker 2 00:34:28 Great, great lines, Jason. Speaker 1 00:34:32 That's Jason. Speaker 2 00:34:36 It's an old school reference to do. Uh, yeah, so super boy. He's like a genius. He can figure everything out. I still think he's the most boring character. Speaker 1 00:34:48 He's not a genius. He just can just do it faster than I run. Speaker 2 00:34:51 He just as a bond, I that works this way with a, with, with hooks and stuff. But Speaker 3 00:34:55 At the same time, he probably is Speaker 1 00:34:57 10,000 monkeys on a typewriter. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:35:00 But night Wing's supposed to be the smart tech guy. He doesn't have any powers. Super boy has a million powers and he has to figure out he is like their computer guy too. Speaker 3 00:35:08 Hey, do you wanna take the zip line? Speaker 2 00:35:10 Sure. Speaker 1 00:35:12 What are you gonna say, Jay? Speaker 3 00:35:13 Uh, it's not, uh, Gar is also a techie. Uh, and then also somebody on that, Speaker 2 00:35:21 Somebody on that roof. Oh, it's an N Speaker 3 00:35:22 Super boy is a genius. It might be it's Netflix. Yeah. Netflix Speaker 1 00:35:28 Genius. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Speaker 2 00:35:30 I think that's another, uh, NBC actually that reminds me, um, speaking of night wing is terrible Alliance or sorry, Jay, were you done? Yeah. Did you have anything else? Okay. There's a part where Corey is like freaking out and noting is like, oh no, not, not, not Corey Dawn. And knowing is like, we're working as fast as we can. Okay. I'm doing this super boy's doing that. We got under control. And then he like turns and slowly walks away. He's like, Gar, what do we got? You remember this part? It's like, he listen, exactly. Communicating a sense of urgency is the point I'm trying. Speaker 3 00:36:06 Or he is portraying a sense of calm to everyone. Else's hyperness Speaker 2 00:36:16 Past seasons. When would, would pretend he was in control situation when he totally was not Speaker 3 00:36:23 He's maturing. <laugh> Speaker 2 00:36:28 Well, that's true. Hope so. Uh, alright. So yeah, I think that's, I think that's pretty much everything I had about Titans. Speaker 1 00:36:37 The last observation I had was like, is this gonna be a tight tower, B situation where Jason's just going after every, with our weakness or something. Speaker 2 00:36:49 It's also the Judis contract a little bit too. I don't. How high is the body count of the Judis contract? Uh, low. Nobody does except for, uh, Tara at the end. Okay. So yeah. We'll we'll we'll see. Do you think they're ever actually gonna explain how, um, Speaker 2 00:37:09 How Jason lived? Are they gonna like explain that? I like how they assumed that the guy who got him out of the, uh, the grave was one of his henchmen. Yeah. Jason has henchman. Yeah. Like every judge, I think you got, I think you got it. ZJ behind us. Behind us. There's an enemy coming from behind. Yep. Yes. We're gonna ignore them. Okay. So I have a, before we get to the question of the day, I have, I have a couple questions from the real, if you guys don't mind, well, are they get counted? The questions of the day. We are not maybe outta time over here. Speaker 1 00:37:40 Well, Speaker 3 00:37:40 I got up by mistake Speaker 1 00:37:44 Failed. Can I do it? Speaker 2 00:37:46 Yes. You guys can do it. Take it by one thing. Why don't you? Speaker 1 00:37:50 Yeah. Yeah. That's reason to be. Okay. Have you ever written a fan fiction and what was it about? Speaker 2 00:37:58 Sure, of course we have. You know, we have, Speaker 1 00:38:00 I know we have. Now you could talk about the podcast. Speaker 2 00:38:02 No, I don't want to, it was very sexy, giant enemy, giant battle. It was Speaker 1 00:38:09 Sexy. That's not how I remember. It Speaker 2 00:38:12 Was, it was whatever. And, and both Speaker 1 00:38:17 Was, are you serious? Who did Speaker 2 00:38:21 All together? Speaker 3 00:38:26 I hit for six. Speaker 2 00:38:28 Woo. Uh, I feel like Jay probably has. I'll talk about it. All right, everybody out. I'll talk about it. We did. When we were like very pretty young teen, like early teenagers, we, uh, we did, uh, we did ones for, uh, gun to wing, but it was, it was like a Pardy. It was a joke. It wasn't really pan it wasn't really pan fiction in the way people think of it. Godammit <laugh> some of us could aim too well gambling. I Speaker 1 00:38:59 Count Speaker 2 00:39:00 Not me, uh, with, did we do any other ones besides that? Or was there Speaker 3 00:39:06 More someone Roseberry? Speaker 2 00:39:09 I'm I'll do it double time. So anyway, I think that was the one I think were there more was that I think there were other ones. I don't remember what they are now though. Yeah. Alana, what about you? Since you're not a plan? Uh <laugh> Speaker 3 00:39:29 There's a camp plan. Speaker 1 00:39:30 Wasn't very good or extensive. Speaker 2 00:39:35 I remember you did it. Just league one. Speaker 1 00:39:37 Yeah, that one. Speaker 2 00:39:38 But I don't. I remember very little about it. Speaker 1 00:39:41 Me too. Speaker 2 00:39:42 It wasn't very sexy either. Speaker 1 00:39:44 It was definitely not sexy. Speaker 2 00:39:45 <laugh> if you come over to this campfire you'll Speaker 3 00:39:49 I don't, I mean, I've written stories, but not fan that really? Yeah. Fan never really interested me. Speaker 2 00:40:02 That's surprising. That's like the one Ray hasn't done. There's one that you like to read that you didn't write? Speaker 3 00:40:08 No, I mean, I don't really read 'em or write 'em. I mean, I've listened to people, recite theirs and that's kind of fun, but yeah. I mean, I've never been interested in finding 'em myself. Not even the dinosaur ones, Speaker 2 00:40:25 Dinosaur once mm-hmm <affirmative> all right. Zach, what else or ISJ do you have any Speaker 4 00:40:30 Don't think that I did. I wasn't a huge writer when I was younger or older Speaker 2 00:40:35 Or younger background was old or an now Speaker 4 00:40:40 I, I think I, I didn't consider myself to be a writer, so I didn't do much writing. Speaker 2 00:40:46 It's all about personal perception. Okay. Anything else? Alana? Do you have any more questions? Okay. Here's the first one from the, for the, uh, from the reel. Okay. You are going through your man's drawers. Ooh. And you find an engagement, right? All right. We will assume for the purposes question, you are a woman or a gay man and that, and not already married. So you're wait. Yes. So you're waiting from the pilot question a month goes by. He still hasn't asked to marry you. Do you like bring it up? Speaker 3 00:41:21 Wait, why are we assuming we're a female or gay man? Why can't a man be waiting for a future wife or what? The other variation? Speaker 2 00:41:31 Because we live in a very heteronormative society still where men are expected to give engagement rings to women. Speaker 3 00:41:37 You may live in a very heteronormative world. Speaker 2 00:41:41 Okay, fine. We don't need to assume that part. Then your, your partner, you find the engagement ring in their drawer. Do you ask them about it? So here's a question that as a woman, I don't know the answer to what big. So is it an engagement rink that has a diamond on it? Yeah. Speaker 1 00:41:57 Well, cause it presumably, cause it looks like a typical engagement, right? Speaker 2 00:42:00 Yes. I wouldn't, I wouldn't assume anything. I wouldn't say Speaker 4 00:42:04 I choose because I'm already married. Speaker 2 00:42:06 <laugh> nailing the spirit of the question. Yeah. I just would be like, okay, I guess, uh, you know, Speaker 3 00:42:14 What's the premise of, oh, sorry, go ahead. Speaker 2 00:42:18 No, that's it. I guess he's not, I guess it's not happening right now. Cause I should, uh, you know, step up my game. Speaker 3 00:42:26 What's the premise of why, how I found it. Speaker 2 00:42:29 So, so you want to get married presumably, but if you ask about it, you you'll know, they'll know that you, you went through their drawers. Yeah. Speaker 3 00:42:37 I wanna know why I'm going through drawers. Speaker 2 00:42:40 It's it wasn't on purpose. It just happened that way. Speaker 4 00:42:43 Then I think my partner would accept that. <laugh> <laugh> if I, if I was like, I saw a wedding or I saw an engagement ring, what's up with that. I feel like my, their first question would, well, maybe their first question would be, why are you going through that? Cause if they're hiding it there, they don't expect you to find it Speaker 2 00:43:00 Is why you should never Snoop, all leads to is pain and more pain. What do you think, Alana? Speaker 4 00:43:06 I don't know. I might bring it up because also like, I mean, it could be, I don't want to get my expectations up if like they're holding onto it for a friend or something. Speaker 2 00:43:14 Hmm. Speaker 3 00:43:15 Yeah. I mean, or it could be a family heirloom that you're yeah. You're holding onto, I mean, my mom held onto, uh, multiple engagement rings from her family for me and my brother one day that never got used <laugh> um, but uh, yeah, I mean, there were just things that were there, but yeah, I probably wouldn't be snooping anyway, but I've just, I would be like, yo, why am I snooping? <laugh> Speaker 2 00:43:52 I, I would, I would be introspective and say, why am I snooping? What is it about me that makes me wanna Snoop? Speaker 3 00:43:57 Why am I still in this relationship? If I can't trust my partner. Speaker 2 00:44:02 Excellent question. Uh, why are you snooping? Yeah, that's the real question of the day. Okay. Here's the next one also from the real, which is you're friends with a couple. Okay. Uh, I can't believe it. One premise is unbelievable. Yeah. One half of the couple says that they're planning a romantic dinner for the other one, but then the other one tells you that they're planning to break up with the other one soon. Okay. So what do you do? Why don't not get involved? Of Speaker 1 00:44:37 Course the stakes are really low. You're like now what if they were planning to take into Hawaii for two weeks? That's a different question. Speaker 2 00:44:44 Or if they were planning on proposing, let's do that then. No, no. Let's do the one about the Hawaii for two weeks. Cuz then it's potentially thousands of dollars at stake. Speaker 1 00:44:52 Yeah, that's Speaker 3 00:44:53 Right. What's the question. Speaker 2 00:44:54 Okay. You're friends with a couple. One of them is planning to take the other one to Hawaii, but the other one wants to break up. So I would tell the person who's planning to break up that this they're planning this and you need to get out ahead of it. Wow. I came to the same conclusion, buddy. It's almost like where I technical. Wow. It's almost like there was a right answer. It's not, well, I think the right answer is don't get involved, which I think is probably what most of people you are gonna say. It's definitely, that's definitely the ideal case. But if you're friends with them, you would want, you would Speaker 1 00:45:24 Friend not, I liked more. Speaker 2 00:45:27 What's that one? Speaker 4 00:45:30 Which one of them do? I like more? Speaker 1 00:45:32 Yeah. Speaker 4 00:45:36 Good point Alana. Speaker 2 00:45:37 Yeah. Why didn't we think of that? Speaker 1 00:45:39 Yeah. Why didn't you think of that? Speaker 2 00:45:41 I don't know. I'm getting have triple gone buddy. Don't stop it. I'm coming right now. You can have, it Speaker 4 00:45:47 Was the rip saw any good? Speaker 2 00:45:49 No. Speaker 4 00:45:51 Was it GI Speaker 2 00:45:52 All? Do you guys wanna do my one of my questions of the day? Or do we want to call it? Yeah, Speaker 4 00:45:55 I do. Speaker 2 00:45:56 Sure, sure. We got time. Speaker 3 00:45:58 Yo let's kill Darth Vader. Speaker 2 00:46:00 Yo, let's go. Where is he? He's right here. Where's that punk gas badge. Let's get him. All right. So here's my here's Matt's questions of the day. A, a higher classic criminal Uhhuh question. Number one. Is it okay to pee in the shower? Yes or no? Yes. No. Let's see in the shower. Oh Speaker 1 00:46:20 Yes. Speaker 2 00:46:21 Let's pee at the spot. The spot. I can tell Speaker 4 00:46:24 You that's a sample size of more than just me. Speaker 2 00:46:27 <laugh> you just you've discussed this ZJ and a committee. Yeah. And the conclusion is yes. Speaker 4 00:46:33 Yeah. This is actually funny. Once everyone's answered. I have a quick story. Speaker 2 00:46:38 Oh, all right. Where's Dar Vader. Jay lead us on. Speaker 3 00:46:42 I don't know. There's over here. His ship's over here. You said you go find his ship and you'll find Vader. Speaker 2 00:46:48 Okay. Well someone might have already fought him. Oh Speaker 3 00:46:50 No. Here he is. He's right here. Speaker 2 00:46:52 All right. Let's kill him. Alana says no. And I want hear the case for it because I, I just don't understand how you could possibly say that. It's not. Speaker 1 00:47:02 It's gross. Speaker 2 00:47:03 Why it's gross. Speaker 4 00:47:04 Yeah. But come on through a different reason. Speaker 2 00:47:07 Yeah, Speaker 1 00:47:07 Because you're gonna peel over the shower Speaker 2 00:47:10 All over. You don't have to do all over it. Speaker 3 00:47:12 I shot a bird. Yeah. Speaker 1 00:47:13 I dunno how much you guys know about like female anatomy, but I don't think you can control it that well, Speaker 3 00:47:18 It just dribbles. Speaker 2 00:47:19 My daughter seems to be able to control him pretty well. I think you need to work on your stream. A Speaker 1 00:47:24 Yeah, no, Speaker 2 00:47:26 No. You're not. Speaker 1 00:47:28 I meant, uh, she's small. Speaker 2 00:47:30 Also water just comes in and watches it all away. Yeah. You're clean. Yeah. And P is sterile anyway. Speaker 1 00:47:36 No, it smells. Speaker 3 00:47:37 Do you scrub your, Speaker 4 00:47:38 That? It's fully sterile. To be honest. Speaker 3 00:47:40 Yeah. Do you scrub your legs? Speaker 2 00:47:43 I do. No. Speaker 1 00:47:44 Not usually. Speaker 4 00:47:45 Not every shower, Speaker 2 00:47:46 But usually Speaker 3 00:47:49 Are wild. Speaker 2 00:47:50 Wait, Jay. So you say yes or no to peeing in the shower? Speaker 3 00:47:54 I, I guess day or day. I don't care. I don't really care, Speaker 2 00:47:58 But gotta weigh in. I Speaker 3 00:48:00 Mean, if I, if I, if I absolutely have to, like, there's no way I can get out of the shower to go pissed then. Yeah. I'll probably do it. But like, if there's, if I have a opportunity to hold it, then go to the bathroom, go like take the five steps to the toilet. I'll go take those five steps to the Speaker 2 00:48:18 Point. That's weird. I just don't understand that. I dunno why you take the five steps. It all, it all goes to the same place. It's all pipes. Yeah. Speaker 4 00:48:26 And it, yeah, maybe it is a difference of anatomy cuz it's not like I'm peeing all over myself. Like, you know, you aim at the drain. <laugh> keep things civil. Speaker 3 00:48:39 Yeah. Yeah. But if you're in the shower that other water is hitting, you're spraying it all back onto you. Most likely or spraying. I don't just Speaker 2 00:48:46 Get mixed in and then it goes down. It's no. Speaker 3 00:48:48 Or it's spraying on your legs and the fact that you don't wash your legs, scrub your legs y'all are nasty. It doesn't. Speaker 4 00:48:55 I do scrub my legs. Just not every shower. Speaker 2 00:48:57 Just my legs. It doesn't go on. I do too. It doesn't go on your legs. It does not spray all over your legs. Try it. Sometimes. Jay, it's not a big deal. Speaker 3 00:49:05 Y'all don't wash it Speaker 2 00:49:08 All. ZJ it's it time for your anecdote. Speaker 4 00:49:10 So my anecdote is, um, we're when you guys were visiting our summer house, way back when we had one, Speaker 2 00:49:19 Is this something we did? Speaker 4 00:49:20 No, it's me. Yeah, definitely. Definitely. Um, but so you remember we had like a little guest section where you guys would stay and it had its own bathroom. Yeah. And we were all coming back in from something and you guys were like, I have to pee and I'm like, I have to pee. And so you guys peed in the toilet and I was like, I'm gonna pee in the shower. And then it was this huge deal and everyone got upset <laugh> and I was like, what? I, Erin stood out. Well, Speaker 2 00:49:48 You gotta go. You gotta go. It's funny that you apologize Speaker 4 00:49:51 Because I have, uh, you know, associations with your family Speaker 2 00:49:55 With it. He has so much how much trauma did we cause you in your childhood directly comfort to our Speaker 4 00:50:01 Am? I, it was more just embarrassing. <laugh> it? Wasn't until college that I met other people and felt comfortable peeing in the shower. Again, Speaker 2 00:50:08 I, I have to say that. I, I have to say that I have to admit, I never pee in the shower until my wife convinced me to do it. Really? Yeah. I, it never, it never even occurred to me. I just do it all the time. I never even think about it. Speaker 4 00:50:22 I have a little bit of variation. Um, which is peeing in a pool. Speaker 2 00:50:28 No, you can't pee in a pool. That's that's on. Speaker 3 00:50:30 What's not wrong Speaker 2 00:50:31 Because like it's just it's bricks. Body of water. Speaker 1 00:50:35 Yeah. It's public. There's other people in it. It's not polite. Speaker 2 00:50:39 There's no circulation. Yeah. You can't do it. I mean, if you like a tiny child, it's a little more forgivable, but certainly as an adult, no way that guy is all around. Yeah. Get him Ja. Kill him and kill Rick. All right. So we all wait in. Yeah. Okay. Question number two or four, whatever it is. What is, what do you keep your living space temperature at? In the summer and the winter? Uh, so right now I have it at like 74, 74. My God GE. Speaker 1 00:51:19 Exactly. Speaker 4 00:51:19 Why don't you just take money and set it on fire Speaker 2 00:51:22 Ice station. Zebra. Speaker 1 00:51:24 <laugh> Speaker 3 00:51:25 I try to keep buying at 72. Speaker 2 00:51:27 Oh my God. The polar ice caps. Oh Speaker 4 00:51:29 My God. Speaker 2 00:51:30 Well, Jay's also in a basement, which is easier to keep. Cool. Speaker 3 00:51:34 It's really not <laugh> it's really not because I don't control the heat. Speaker 2 00:51:40 Oh, well then yeah, you don't exactly. Keep it as temperature. CJ. You got got chug. I do. I don't. So ZJ so, okay. So Zach, you said 74 in the summer. How about in the winter? Uh, I don't know. In the winter. It's probably less than that. No kidding. Well, what about the rest of you Speaker 3 00:52:01 Other team here? Speaker 2 00:52:02 Oh, shoot. Speaker 1 00:52:03 Get, Speaker 2 00:52:04 Get top of it. Speaker 1 00:52:06 76 right now. Speaker 2 00:52:08 76 is Speaker 3 00:52:10 Here. Yeah. Course surrounded. Speaker 4 00:52:12 There's like five of them. Speaker 2 00:52:14 So I keep, I keep my house at 78 in the summer. Oh. And 68 in the winter. Oh my God. Do use a four degree difference from my house. You're giving it's a massive difference. It's a massive difference. It's a Speaker 4 00:52:27 Pretty massive difference. Speaker 2 00:52:29 One degree is a massive difference. Yeah. To be honest with y'all. Yeah. Speaker 4 00:52:34 And that's something that people use Celsius will never understand. That's right. We're picking this fight. Speaker 2 00:52:38 That's right. Fight, fight. I saw a good tweet about that. That was like, we do need to change it. So we, uh, people who use CEL skis do need to use, switch to Fahrenheit. So that way they know, uh, you know, so that way there is a high enough number that it's applicable for how hot it is. Cause like in the UK, like, you know, 40 degrees Celsius, what, what do you want? 40 degree sales gift are 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Yeah. Which one? Conveys how hot it is? Speaker 4 00:53:04 110. Speaker 2 00:53:05 Yeah. USA Speaker 4 00:53:07 The American way. Um, so our house, uh, currently we keep it at like aimed to keep it at 76 or 75 in the summer and then aimed to keep it like 73 in the winter. Speaker 2 00:53:23 Okay. Speaker 4 00:53:23 But what's funny is the first year I moved into my own house after having spent all this time in a, um, in an apartment is I tried to keep it at 73 in the summer and 76 in the winter. So I was actually feeling more comfortable at different temperatures. Anyway, it was, it was bad depended. Speaker 3 00:53:49 Although I get that, I mean, I'm now more comfortable in hotter weather. So my apartment right now just sits usually at like 75, 76 and that's comfortable and that's perfectly fine. And in the winter, I, I mean, I used to keep it at like 68, 70, and now I'm okay with it being a lot hotter, like 4 75. Yeah. Uh it's just because I had, for like a long time, I couldn't control my heat. And so my apartment was constantly at 85 or plus, so it was driving me in Spain. Like when I, before living in this apartment. Yeah. I, I kept it as cold as I could. Speaker 2 00:54:36 <laugh> as cold as ice. Speaker 3 00:54:38 Wow. Yeah. I mean, 70 degrees was what we would set our thermostat at, Speaker 2 00:54:42 But it wouldn't actually reach that ice. Speaker 3 00:54:44 Oh yeah. 100%. Speaker 4 00:54:46 I also know if's what I was Speaker 3 00:54:47 Living with bill. We would keep it like we'd set it at 68 in the summer and hoped it would get there. We both hate the heat. Speaker 4 00:54:57 I also, it's just a Boston thing, but apartment buildings seem to keep the heat absolutely ranked in the winter. It might be like a legal thing. Like they're legally required to keep it a certain temperature. Um, but for whatever reason, yeah. In the, um, in the winter it was, we had to open windows in our apartment to keep it comfortable. Speaker 2 00:55:21 Yeah. I can believe that. Speaker 3 00:55:22 I can believe. Yeah, I do that. There's someone on me. Speaker 2 00:55:26 Yeah. I'm coming show the day. Matt, last one. Yeah. Okay. Here's a good one. If you could only wear one hat for the rest of your life, what kind of hat would it be? Or one hat would. Oh Speaker 4 00:55:39 My Speaker 2 00:55:39 God. Yeah. You heard Speaker 4 00:55:43 There is a hat. It would be no Speaker 2 00:55:45 Hat. And there is a right answer. Hat. No, it's a winter hat. Speaker 3 00:55:59 How Speaker 4 00:55:59 Dare Speaker 2 00:56:01 You need a hat in the winter. You don't need one in Speaker 4 00:56:04 The're right? That that's like Speaker 2 00:56:06 Your head warm in the winter. Speaker 3 00:56:08 You, uh, a have body heat, Speaker 4 00:56:16 A hoodie. Speaker 2 00:56:16 You'd be overheated in the summer. Speaker 3 00:56:19 I'm over it in the winter. Speaker 2 00:56:21 Then you just don't wear it. <laugh> yeah. It's not saying you have to wear a hat for the rest of your life. Yeah. If you only had one hat you could wear for the rest of your life. I misunderstood the question. It's alright. Speaker 3 00:56:33 I, if I misunderstood, I still with my, Speaker 2 00:56:40 Which is what cowboy hat some finish. Um, uh, okay. Are we done guys? <laugh> yeah, we're done. All right.
